Event Description:

Join Dr. Bill Rogers, Winthrop University Biology Professor and Museum of York County Adjunct Curator, for a Beginning Birder’s Workshop.

Learning what to look for and where it is located on a bird will improve your ability to identify birds and increase your enjoyment of birds.  Included in your registration fee, participants will receive a softcover Birds of the Carolinas Field Guide and information on free apps available for your smart phone with the songs and calls of common birds at your fingertips.

Pre-registration and payment is required.  Members $25; Nonmembers $35.  Ages 12-adult are welcome.  All teens under 16 must be accompanied by a registered adult.  Registration Deadline:  January 22, 2016.  Non-refundable unless class is cancelled.
