Book Signing & Talks:
Dr. Steve Fields, curator of natural history at the Museum of York County, is author of the newly published “In Your Nature: Ponderings of a Carolina Piedmont Naturalist.” Commemorating the curator’s 30th anniversary with the museum, the book is a compilation of articles written by Fields that has appeared in YC Magazine over the last ten years. On Saturday, Sept. 24 in the Museum of York County’s classroom, Fields will present two 30-minute talks about his book from 10:30-11a.m. and from1:30-2p.m. and will be available for book-signings. “In Your Nature: Ponderings of a Carolina Piedmont Naturalist” includes original illustrations by Culture and Heritage Museums’ Stephen Crotts and is available for purchase in the museum store.
