Event Description:
Do sheep really want a "hair cut?" And what do you do with that dirty wool once it is off the sheep?
Come and learn the answers to these questions and more as we shear our flock of Gulf Coast sheep! Along with shearing demonstrations costumed interpreters will highlight the many processes such as carding, spinning, dyeing and more to turn raw wool into finished garments. And be sure to meet our spring lambs while you are here!
