Event Description:

Our ongoing nature programs that may feature a tour, demonstration or activity designed to inspire children & adults to explore the natural world of the Carolina Piedmont and our global connections. 

• In this program, dig into a discussion of why planting native plants is important for the piedmont to maintain natural diversity. 
• Guests Mr. Bill Stringer and Mr. Rick Huffman from the South Carolina Native Plant Society, Upstate Chapter will be giving presentations at 10:15 am and 12:15 pm
• Our local Piedmont Chapter of the SC Native Plant Society will provide plants for purchase from 1-2 pm (weather permitting)
Regular admission: $8 Adults • $7 Seniors • $5 Youth (4-17)Free for CHM Members & 3 and younger
