Event Description:

A day of activities and information featuring real science based on the popular Harry Potter series of books. Features include:

• Thinking of a pet of the slimy or scaly persuasion? Learn about these special creatures as you encounter live snakes, hissing cockroaches, a bearded dragon and more! 
• A planetarium show features an astronomy class, just like those in the books. 
• Which Fantastic Beasts of the Muggle World are real and which are imagined? Find out in this special class. 
• Learn about Nicolas Flamel and the history of alchemy. 
• Up your game – learn tips and practice with players from USC’s Quidditch Team.
• Answer riddles of the Sphinx to test your logic skills.
• Check out the York County Library Bookmobile.
• Additional activities will be ongoing. 
• Food and drink from Chappell’s Snack Shack will be available for purchase. 
• The Museum Guild will have refreshments for sale, including butter beer. 
• Shop in the Museum Store for Harry Potter-inspired merchandise including wands, puzzles, playing cards and more.
