Event Description:

Thank you for your interest in the Southern Sound Series. Your health and safety are ALWAYS important at the Culture & Heritage Museums. As an agency of York County Government, we are following the recommendations of the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

To help minimize the potential effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Southern Sound Series is postponed and we will send you new dates as they become available.

While we would love for you to join us on the new dates, we also understand that may not be possible. If you are interested in a refund, please contact us at tickets@chmuseums.org. (Your seat reservations will remain in place for the next date unless you contact us for a refund.)

From Haywood County, N.C. comes Balsam Range. The quintet won entertainer of the year at the International Bluegrass Music Awards in 2018 and in 2014, alongside a multitude of top honors in an array of categories. Since forming in 2007, Balsam Range has nine studio albums. “Mountain Overture,” a recorded collaboration with Atlanta Pops Orchestra Ensemble, debuted on Billboard’s Bluegrass chart at No. 5 and the Classical Crossover chart at No.6.

Vittles & Fiddles: Come early for each show to enjoy Vittles & Fiddles, a pre-concert gathering two hours before each concert featuring local musicians and a food truck. Both at Vittles & Fiddles and during concert intermission, guests 21 and older may enjoy a selection of beer and wine.
