Museum Store

Enjoy sustainable shopping at the Museum Store. The Museum Store offers works by local artists, regional food items, decorative “critters” from recycled flatware and hardware, wine bags and place mats woven from screw pine leaves (a renewable resource).

New in the store are cuddly 6-inch sheep handcrafted in South Carolina of wool gathered from the endangered Gulf Coast sheep at Historic Brattonsville. $18.

To complement the current Made in Nature exhibit, the store has pottery, beeswax candles and carved wood gifts by local artists.

A favorite shopping destination for grandparents, the Museum Store carries uncommon plush animals such as river otters, buffalo and assorted fish. Fun yet educational toys coming in a wide price range, including a $5.95 “crack your own” geode, an $18 solar system mobile kit and a $59, over three-feet-long, plush tiger. Free gift wrapping.

Culture & Heritage Museums members receive a 10 percent discount every day and invitations to special store events. Volunteers receive a discount on the days they volunteer.
