Blue Moon Puppets invade Rock Hill’s Main Street

Rock Hill, SC – Rise and Shine!  Start your morning at the Main Street Children’s Museum!


On Saturday, August 11, beginning at 9:15 am Blue Moon Puppets will be present Fun with Folktales, a table-top puppet show about two folktales from Africa and Mexico. Puppeteer Stephen Clifford of Charlotte, North Carolina will present the attention-getting and magical puppet illusions.  After the performance, Clifford will be available to talk about the stories and puppets.  Recommended for ages 3-5 with caregiver, but all ages are welcome.  General Museum Admission fee.  No registration required.  The Main Street Children’s Museum is located at 133 Main Street, Rock Hill, SC.  For more information, visit www.chmuseums.org or call 803.327.6400.


Later that afternoon at the Community Performance Center, 249 East Main Street, join the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra Guild for a musical petting zoo at 4:00 pm followed by the Blue Moon Puppets' TALES FROM A GLOBAL VILLAGE , a performance featuring folktales from three countries through the magic of puppets! Tickets are $5 at the door.  For more information on the afternoon performance, contact the Arts Council of York County at 803.328.2787.
