“Spirits & Stories: Brattonsville by Twilight” - Hear the tales about the legends that linger on at the Carolina Piedmont Plantation
MCCONNELLS, SC – On Saturday, October 17 from 3 – 9 p.m. Historic Brattonsville offers something for everyone during the autumnal festivities of “Spirits & Stories: Brattonsville by Twilight.” By day the living history museum will be full of good old-fashion fun and hands-on activities including apple bobbing and cider pressing, corn shelling, wagon rides and harvest demonstrations. By twilight, walk about on a guided lantern tour and listen to historically dressed interpreters tell the tales of those whose legends linger on. Bring a flashlight and discover for yourself if spirits from the old plantation’s past still roam about.
Enjoy s’mores, cider and donuts by the campfire and listen to live music by Night Train Owls between 5 – 9 p.m. Food concessions will be available for purchase by the Friends of Historic Brattonsville.
Admission: Adults - $6, Seniors - $5, Youth (ages 4-17) - $3, FREE to CHM members and children age 3 and younger.
