Meet children’s book author Julie R. Murphy at OWL Book Club
ROCK HILL, SC – OWL (Our Wee Literature) Book Club returns to Main Street Children’s Museum on Sunday, Jan. 31 at 3 p.m. The children’s book club celebrates the wonder of words and the power of pictures for families with children of all ages. Julie R. Murphy will talk about her book “What If We Were All Gray?” and its message of friendship and acceptance. Through her work with families, children, and at-risk youth, Murphy is passionate about helping others discover beauty in our differences. Murphy will be available for book sales and signing immediately following the program.
During the OWL Book Club, children can talk about the stories and do book-themed activities involving movement with music and craft time in the upstairs classroom.
February’s read-ahead-book for families is “My Many Colored Days” by Dr. Seuss. The book can be found at Main Street Children’s Museum.
Family members of all ages are welcome. OWL Book Club is free with general admission to Main Street Children’s Museum. For registration, please call 803-327-6400.
