Celebrate the Fourth-of-July on the lawn at Hightower Hall

McCONNELLS, S.C. - Independence Day at Historic Brattonsville’s Hightower Hall will be a 19th century-style backyard family celebration. Join historically-dressed interpreters in a real old-fashion game of baseball. Experience a spectacular paper hot-air balloon launch. York County’s own Zach Lemhouse and Nash Lyle will be playing fiddle music of the era. Make an 1850s-style toast after the reading of the Declaration of Independence at 3:30 p.m. on the front steps of the Bratton’s antebellum home.

Slow Smokin’ BBQ will be available for purchase.

Independence Day at Hightower Hall Wed. July 4, 2018 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Historic Brattonsville’s Hightower Hall is located at 1036 Brattonsville Road, McConnells, S.C.
