Culture & Heritage Museums offers virtual summer programs: Time Travel Tuesdays, Wonderful Wednesdays and Messy Maestros

ROCK HILL, S.C. – With Culture & Heritage Museums’ sites physically closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, summer programs are offered on a digital platform to provide fun learning opportunities for families of all ages. Created by educational teams at Historic Brattonsville, Museum of York County and Main Street Children’s Museum, CHM summer programs are free of charge; registration is required and donations are encouraged.

Historic Brattonsville and Museum of York County summer programs are presented through Zoom Webinars. Main Street Children’s Museum’s Messy Maestros is presented through Facebook Live; the Messy Maestro Art Kit is an online purchase with curbside pickup.

Culture & Heritage Museums’ virtual summer programs are made possible through funding from a Bridge Grant from South Carolina Humanities, www.schumanities.org. Funding for the Bridge Grants has been provided by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) as part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act economic stabilization plan.
