Guild of the Museum of York County open to new members
Museum group offers monthly programs, adult education
ROCK HILL, SC – Those interested in knowing more the Museum of York County and opportunities for adult education are invited to attend a free meeting of the museum’s Guild 9:30-11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 14.
The first in this season’s monthly Guild programs, the meeting will begin with social time and refreshments. The program will feature a presentation about the new museum for young children now being developed in downtown Rock Hill by the Culture & Heritage Museums and the Naturalist Center being planned for the Museum of York County.
Guild members enjoy networking and lifelong learning opportunities and, although it is not necessary to be a volunteer to attend Guild programs, the Guild is a primary source of volunteers for the museum’s educational programs and other opportunities.

The Culture & Heritage Museums are managed by the York County Culture and Heritage Commission (CHC), chartered in 1997 by the York County, South Carolina, Council. The Culture and Heritage Foundation supports the CHC, its museums and the future museum being developed on the Catawba River at I-77.
