Get creative at America Recycles Day

Event promotes recycling and recycled materials

ROCK HILL, SC – Be part of a national awareness campaign at America Recycles Day, 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, at the Museum of York County.

The event is designed to encourage and challenge people to recycle and buy products made from recycled materials. Guests can participate in a variety of hands-on activities, including making magnets, envelopes and gift boxes from recycled materials, playing a “fishing for litter” game, having fun in the children’s play area, receiving a temporary tattoo and learning more about recycling in our community. Get great ideas for easy, fun toys for toddlers you can make from recyclables.
