Event Description:
Each Saturday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., we will explore different steps involved in processing wool, including shearing sheep, washing the wool, carding and spinning thread, and weaving thread into cloth. Other activities will include cooking demonstrations and interpretation of the Brattonsville Store.
Each Saturday will include sheep shearing at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
May 7 - Shearing and Washing Wool
May 14 - Carding and Spinning
May 21 - Weaving
May 28 - Natural Dyeing
Ticket are available online or at the Visitor's Center on the day of the event.
