Historic Brattonsville opens its doors for our annual Christmas Candlelight Tours, a tradition for over 40 years, on Dec. 3 and 10.
With the Bratton family away visiting relatives, the audience will join a costumed tour guide through a guided candlelit tour, set in 1852, to explore how Christmas may have been celebrated among the people who remained on the plantation.
Tickets are limited and must be purchased in advance for timed tour slots.

• Make-and-take activities: Candle-dipping and making 'scherenschnitte' (German for “scissor cuts”) snowflake ornaments
• Brass band and traditional fiddle music
• Christmas shopping at the Historic Brattonsville Gift Shop
• Cash Concessions will be available for purchase.
Note: Site will be closed to the public until 3 p.m. Also, Brattonsville Road will be closed from 2:45 p.m. until 9 p.m. Please allow time for posted detour.
