CKC: Nutty Nature Walk

Registration Opens Aug. 1 and Closes Aug. 19.
Come to Historic Brattonsville to listen to a reading of “We’re Going on a Leaf Hunt.” After listening to the story, everyone will be shown a “nature box” and the hosts will explain that today everyone gets to make their own nature box. Everyone will then be given a paper-bag and guided around a trail where they can pick up leaves, acorns, feathers, and similar items for their box. After walking the trail, guests will be taken back to the picnic tables where they will get the chance to fill and decorate their nature boxes.
