Living History Saturday: Juneteenth

Join us for this Living History Saturday to learn about the historic and cultural importance of Juneteenth.
On-Going Activities will include:
-Cooking Demonstrations: with recipes such as Strawberry Pie & BBQ
-Natural Dyeing and Tape Weaving: featuring the traditional colors of red, black, and green
-Quilting Demo: the discussion of African American traditions
Scheduled Activities:
-Reading of General Order No. 3 (at 11 a.m. & 2 p.m.)
Juneteenth is included in Historic Brattonsville’s general admission for Saturday, June 17.
