These were the Federal soldiers who occupied York County at the end of the Civil War and enforced emancipation.\n• Quilting demonstration and “Make Your Own Quilt Square” hands-on activity\n• Traditional banjo music with local musician Stephen Hardy \nTimed Activities:\n• Animal feeding (10:30 a.m.)\n• “Juneteenth: The Hope of Emancipation” site tour (11 a.m. & 2 p.m.)\n• Traditional cooking demonstration (Noon)\n• Banjo music demonstration (1p.m.)\n• 25th Ohio presentation and children’s militia drill (3 p.m.)
