Through hands-on activities\, nature walks\, games\, and crafts\, campers will learn how plants and animals depend on these special environments. \n**Goldfish/pretzels and/or fruit snacks and water will be provided at break at noon. \nDaily Topics\nJuly 21: Coastal Zone Adventures – Discover sandy beaches\, salt marshes\, and the barrier islands. Learn about sea turtle nesting\, crabs\, and shorebirds.\nJuly 22: Piedmont Exploreres – Investigate our rolling hills\, forests\, and streams. Learn about all the wonderful animals that live outside our front door.\nJuly 23: Mountain Marvels – Climb (in our imaginations) into the Blue Ridge Mountains and learn about black bears\, salamanders\, and other wonderful mountain creatures.\nJuly 24: Wetland Wonders – Explore the swamps and cypress forests that make our state unique and the interesting creatures that live there.
