Celebrate African heritage at Africa Alive!

Rock Hill, SC – Explore Africa’s rich cultural heritage at Africa Alive!, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, February 28, at the Museum of York County.

Visitors will see and hear traditional music, storytelling and crafts. Featured entertainer Obakunle Akinlana will use dancing and drumming to present West African folktales. Try on African clothing, play African games and enjoy a planetarium program. Purchase authentic Ethiopian food and shop for items from Ghana, Kenya and Mali in our African Marketplace.

Admission: Adult $6; Senior $5; Youth 4-17 $4; 3 and younger free; CHM members receive $2 discount.
