Rock Hill, SC – The Culture & Heritage Museums will hold a public hearing 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 12 at the Museum of York County, 4621 Mount Gallant Road.
The organization is applying for a Recreational Trails Program grant from the South Carolina Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism. Through the federally-funded program, the Culture & Heritage Museums is proposing improvements to the Walt Schrader Trails, an 8.5-mile network of backcountry paths located in the 778-acre natural area at Historic Brattonsville.
The public is invited to attend this hearing to learn more about the proposed trail improvements and provide comments for the grant proposal.

The Culture & Heritage Museums are managed by the York County Culture and Heritage Commission (CHC), chartered in 1997 by the York County, South Carolina, Council. The Culture and Heritage Foundation supports the CHC, its museums and the future museum being developed on the Catawba River at I-77.
