Celebrate the season in Carolina Backcountry style during Christmas Candlelight Tours

MCCONNELLS, S.C. - Father Christmas welcomes you to Historic Brattonsville where holiday traditions from the 18th and 19th centuries come to life. Come dance along with historically-dressed interpreters to festive fiddle music of the era. Gather around the kitchen table and watch historical cooking over open hearths. Try your hand at candle dipping and other hands-on activities. Listen to Christmas stories in the barnyard and meet the furry creatures of the farm.

Relax around the campfire and enjoy a warm beverage.

Historic Brattonsville's Gift Shop will be well-stocked with seasonal items and locally made goods.

Special Information: Historic Brattonsville will be closed until 3 p.m. on Dec. 1 & 8 Brattonsville Road will be closed from 2:30-9:30 p.m. Please look for and follow detour signs.
