Participate in the Goofball Garbage Man’s Recycle Cycle ecological activities, enjoy storytelling and receive a “gently used” and recycled book for your family and learn how to “Do Your Part” with master of ceremonies Terri Bennett, former chief meteorologist for WCNC-TV. Visit the 4-H petting zoo. For a small fee, take a pony ride and try family-friendly foods. Trade in your old gas-powered lawnmower for a discounted earth-friendly Neuton electric mower 10 a.m.-1 p.m. across the street at Mount Gallant Elementary School (www.scdhec.gov/lawnmowerexchange).
