Program honors the Greatest Generation

YORK, SC – Personal letters from the battlefield, songs and headlines of the day reflect the epic 20th Century conflict in “War Bonds: The Songs and Letters of WWII” at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26, at the McCelvey Center.

Described as a “living history cabaret,” the McCelvey Series performance is a reminder of how we as individuals, and as a country, responded to great challenges and difficulties. The beauty of the human spirit shines through in this musical tour of the war that redefined the world.

Admission: $15 CHM member; $20 non-member; $18 senior; $10 youth ages 4-17.
