Civil War Reenactment

See demonstrations and camp life at Historic Brattonsville McCONNELLS, SC – Step into the war that ravaged America at Historic Brattonsville’s Civil War Reenactment, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25, 2009. Visitors may see cannon-firing demonstrations, camp life activities, firearms presentations and take part in children’s military drills. Shop for reproduction gift items and purchase food from vendors. Battle reenactments take place at 2 p.m. each day. Sponsors: Ann and Vernon Terry. COST $10 adult; $8 senior; $5 youth ages 4-17. Children 3 and younger admitted free. Members receive a $2 discount.
