Event at the Museum of York County features music, storytelling, crafts

ROCK HILL, SC – Join in the rhythm of drums, shekeres and thumb pianos as featured performer The Healing Force tells the traditional stories of Africa at Africa Alive!, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Feb. 27 at the Museum of York County.

Visitors will explore Africa’s rich cultural heritage at this highly interactive event for all ages. Enjoy live music, hands-on activities, storytelling, crafts and planetarium programs and try on African clothing. Shop in the African Marketplace where vendors offer an array of unique items and authentic Ethiopian foods.

COST Adult $6; senior $5; youth 4-17 $4; 3 and younger free; CHM member discount $2.
