Kudzu Trail Race

Race through the beautiful and rugged trails at Historic Brattonsville!

2019 Kudzu Trail Race  •  Saturday, Nov. 9

Mark your calendars for the second Kudzu Trail Race at Historic Brattonsville! Sponsored by Jasper Dentistry and Nate Mallard, The Home Team, this year’s Kudzu Trail Race offers both 5K and 8K routes, both beginning with a musket start at 8 a.m. Set for Saturday, Nov. 9, and offering both a 5K and an 8K, the routes take you through the beautiful and rugged trails near Hightower Hall, located at 1036 Brattonsville Rd., McConnells, SC.

This year’s 8K is a bit more challenging and presents a few additional obstacles. The 5K route is suitable for families with kids age 8 and older.

All participants will get a medal upon completing the course.  There will be a separate award for the fastest male and female finishers of each race; including overall male and female first place finishers. Qualifying age groups are 12 to 17, 18 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, and 50+.  

Registration, which includes T-shirt and race bag, is $30 until Saturday, Nov. 2, and $35 thereafter. Online registration ends at midnight, Thursday, Nov. 7. Onsite race-day registration begins at 7 a.m. You will be able to see finish times and winners within an hour of last finisher. This event will take place rain or shine, and if canceled, there will be no refunds.

Saturday, Nov. 9 schedule:
7 a.m. day-of registration opens

8:30 a.m. musket start

11 a.m. trail closes
