Join us for Children’s Day on the Farm! This year in honor of the 250th anniversary of the beginning of the American Revolution (April 19, 1775), we will be focusing on children’s life, work, and play in the 18th century.
On-Going Activities:
• Military camp cooking
• Writing with quill pens
• Blacksmithing demonstration
• Woodworking
• 18th century toys and games
• Visit a militia camp
• 18th century laundry
Scheduled Activities:
• Children’s militia drills (10 a.m., 11 a.m., 12 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., & 3:30 p.m.)
• “Walking in Watt’s Shoes” tour of the Huck’s Defeat Battlefield (10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 2 p.m., & 3p.m.)
Children’s Day on the Farm will take place in two sessions from 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. & 1 – 4 p.m.
TicketsAdmission for Children’s Day on the Farm is $10 per person. Before you buy, consider our Trial Membership for $20 per family*, for 1 month of membership benefits, including free admission to Children’s Day on the Farm.
*Up to 2 adults and the primary member’s children or grandchildren under 18.
