Join our historic interpreters as they explore and demonstrate how people prepared food in the 18th century Carolina Piedmont. Help take care of the kitchen garden to learn about what vegetables and herbs they grew, mix up batter for everyone’s favorite corncakes, and churn cream into butter. Even though their lives were different from ours, our ancestors enjoyed delicious food just like we do!
