This month’s Living History Saturdays focus on cookbooks from the 18th and 19th centuries that feature prominently in Brattonsville’s cooking demonstrations. Each weekend will highlight dishes from a different book, as well as activities that reflect the era of publication. This weekend we will be cooking with The Art of Cookery Made Plain and Easy, from 1742.
Featured Dishes:
• Brown Fricassy of Chicken
• Wafers
