Museum of York County explores real super powers at Superhero Science Saturday

ROCK HILL, S.C. – Museum of York County unleashes a super learning opportunity that uncovers the science behind real-life super powers. In fun comic-book style, curious facts about the natural world are explored through science-themed activities.  Superhero Science Saturday on Sept. 24 is a family friendly event for superheroes of all ages. Learn about real super powers of animals. Design your own superhero and create a comic book adventure. Play a super-sized trivia board game. Collect super cool trading cards featuring real superhero scientists. Participate in the Unsung Heroes of the Animal World Scavenger Hunt. “Legends of the Night Sky: Perseus and Andromeda” is the featured planetarium show.  Caricature artist Lonnie Knabel will be on site. Concessions available. Superhero costumes are encouraged.
