18th Century Living History Saturday
In honor of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, visit Historic Brattonsville to venture back to the 18th century Carolina Piedmont. Along with domestic and trade skills from the period, historic interpreters will also lead tours and demonstrations of the military actions in the Backcountry of South Carolina, highlighting the Battle of Williamson’s Plantation (also known as the Battle of Huck’s Defeat), which was fought on Brattonsville property in 1780.
