On November 20, 1889, Edwin Hubble, namesake of the Hubble Space Telescope, was born! The Hubble Space Telescope ushered in a new era for the exploration of deep space with its breathtaking views of faraway celestial objects. Join us to learn about space telescopes, to see some of the photos that Hubble and its successor, the James Webb Space Telescope, have taken, and to participate in an activity that will show you how the Webb Telescope was launched!
