Whimsical Fun at Winnie the Pooh’s Silly Saturday

ROCK HILL, S.C. – Deep in the Hundred Acre Wood, there’s a magical Saturday filled with imagination and laughter, waiting for young adventurers (and the young at heart) at Main Street Children’s Museum!

Craft a character headband to wear throughout the day, find Eeyore’s missing tail, curl up and read stories with Owl’s Owlphabet, and host a tea party in the Treehouse for Rabbit. Reel in some fun at Pooh’s Fishing Adventure Game, discover Piglet’s Awesome Acorns, and bounce, flounce, and have fun like Tigger throughout the day! An activity book filled with short games and activities guides young explorers throughout the day’s adventures, starting off with a scavenger hunt.

Make hunny sweet memories as storybook wonder comes alive, where littles can see that they’re braver than they believe, stronger than they seem, and smarter than they think!

About Main Street Children’s Museum:

Serving young children up to age six, Main Street Children’s Museum is a storybook-come-to-life playscape.  Special programs focusing on literacy, movement, music, art, and STEM aim to prepare young learners and their caregivers for the future. The 4,420-square-foot playscape is located in the heart of downtown Rock Hill in the People’s Bank Building, which was built in 1910 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The imaginative setting was modeled after the artwork of Vernon Grant, renown illustrator of Kellogg’s iconic characters – Snap, Crackle and Pop.

As part of the Museums for All initiative, Main Street Children’s Museum provides reduced admission for low-income families; visit museums4all.org for more information. Main Street Children’s Museum is KultureCity® Certified and Sensory InclusiveTM.
