McCelvey Center
The McCelvey Center is currently closed for repairs to the Lowry Family Theater and rentals are not available at this time. Although work has begun, a definitive timeline for completion of the project has not been finalized. Please check back for future updates.
Museum of York County
Take your meeting, banquet or cocktail party to the Museum of York County. The Junior Welfare League of Rock Hill opened the Children’s Nature Museum in Fewell Park on August 4, 1950. In 1965, construction of a new building on Mount Gallant Road was completed, and in 1976, the museum was renamed the Museum of York County.
Available for rent are the Museum’s auditorium, upstairs classroom, and planetarium.
Main Street Children’s Museum
Artist Vernon Grant’s work provides the inspiration for the Main Street Children’s Museum. Within this wonderful setting, imagination and curiosity merge into creative play! Nursery rhymes such as Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater and Simple Simon have been transformed into life-size, three-dimensional play and learning spaces for young children from birth to six.
Rentals are available for Birthday Parties and other events.
