It’s Harry Potter Science Saturday — peruse the magic of the real, natural world at the Museum of York County

ROCK HILL, S.C. – The Museum of York County presents Harry Potter Science Saturday on March 2. The popular annual event explores how the real science of our natural world parallels with the magic from Harry Potter’s. New this year, a career fair will be hosted by the Ministry of Magic and St. Bumbo’s Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries. Collect magical creatures, participate in the Manywizard Masters Tournament of Magic, and learn about the fantastic beasts of the real world. The planetarium show, “Skies Over Hogwarts,” features stars and constellations that share traits with Harry Potter characters. The York County Library Book Mobile will be on site. Butterbeer is available for purchase. The Museum Store is well-stocked with wizarding supplies. Dress-up in your favorite Harry Potter robes and prepare for surprises.
