“Evening with Meredith Connelly” — Meet the creator of “Decomposers Glow” at Museum of York County’s special event

ROCK HILL, S.C. – Museum of York County hosts a special interactive event – “Evening with Meredith Connelly.” Meet award-winning, multidisciplinary artist Meredith Connelly, who has converged nature, art, and technology to create the illuminating snails and mushrooms featured in the museum’s exhibition “Decomposers Glow.” The artist will speak on her process of using light and technology in hand-crafting the over one hundred 3D printed sculptures that portray the agents of decomposition. During the museum’s special event, participants create their own ink-print collage with natural elements to take home.  “Evening with Meredith Connelly” is recommended for ages 12 and up.
