Unveiling the magic of the real, natural world at Museum of York County’s “Harry Potter Science Saturday”

ROCK HILL, S.C. – Sometimes the line between science and magics blurs. Investigate the mysterious natural world at Museum of York County’s Harry Potter Science Saturday. The themed family event outlines a curriculum of science in the Museum’s School of Witchcraft & Wizardry. Dress up as your favorite Harry Potter character, peruse the museum’s galleries, and cast spells for magical remedies and care of incredible creatures. The day is full of fun and fantastic activities. Certificates of Wizardry will be officiated by Professor Bumblebee upon the achievement of knowledge ascertained through the school’s amusing exams. “Skies Over Hogwarts” is the featured planetarium show. The Museum Store will be stocked for all your wizarding needs. Hot dog plates and other concessions, including Butter Beer, available for both wizard and muggle consumption.
