Epoch Tour: MYCO’s Version
An Evening Inspired by Nature and Taylor Swift
ROCK HILL, S.C. – Museum of York County (MYCO) presents a one-of-a-kind evening event, where pop culture meets natural history! Are you ready for it? Inspired by the lyrics and themes of Taylor Swift, this fun, educational evening explores fascinating animal behaviors from animal love stories who mate for life to matriarchal societies in the wild. Shake it off and take a deeper look at nature’s own love stories, survival tactics, and social structures – all with a Taylor twist.
Additional activities include:
- Animal-Inspired Mask Making – Get creative with patterns and markings found in nature
- Friends of Nature Bracelet Crafting – Create and wear your connection to the wild
- Scavenger Hunts – Search for Swiftie clues throughout the museum
- Epoch Gallery Tours – Curated tours throughout the museum’s exhibits at 7 and 7:30 p.m.
- Small But Deadly – Discover the power of tiny creatures
- Scavengers and Survivors – Learn why nature’s clean-up crew matters
- Swiftie Skies planetarium show – included with event admission. Shows at 6:45 and 7:15 p.m.
Swiftie themed refreshments will be served. An epoch (pronounced like epic) refers to a time period longer than an era marked by a significant event(s), such as the Ice Ages.
