Festivus for the Rest of Us- Sitcom Meets Science
ROCK HILL, S.C. – Seinfeld enthusiasts are invited for an entertaining night out to the third annual Festivus: Seinfeld and the Natural World adults-only event at Museum of York County.
There will be no soup for you but plenty of fun, laughs, themed snacks, and drinks. Guests can air their grievances and show feats of strength while discovering how Seinfeld’s world ties to the everyday world around us. Test your talents at blow-hole putt putt while discovering a whale of a tale of marine specimens or jump into action with life-sized Frogger. Dig into your canine knowledge playing the Dingo Ate Your Baby game and explore nature’s best builders in Art Vandelay Animal Architects. You might even catch some marble rye while you’re fishing and reel up some Carolina fish along the way! The evening also features a special Seinfeld-themed planetarium show, connecting the show’s quirky humor to the wonders of the cosmos. Puffy shirts and character costumes are encouraged, especially at the selfie station, complete with a Kruger family beach photo op! And don’t miss hidden Easter egg nods to the show hidden throughout the museum.
Guests will enjoy two complimentary drinks (wine and beer) and Seinfeld-inspired snacks, included with admission. Tickets are $10 for CHM members and $20 for nonmembers. Pre-registration is required at chmuseums.org/event/festivus/. Please note a valid ID must be shown at the door prior to admittance to the site as this event is for ages 21 and older.
Join the fun for a Festivus celebration for the rest of us!
